  The 1.2mm steel coils and steel spikes are protected against rusting and provide 360° degrees of traction on ice and snow. When you walk in Snow Trax, every step you take places the biting edges in direct contact with the ice beneath your feet. Snow Trax can be worn in temperatures as low as -41 degrees Fahrenheit.
  The patented forefoot coil design of Snow Trax ensures traction without pressure points under the forefoot while the heel spikes create a secure grip upon initial contact with ice and snow.
