Ankle Prolotherapy

At My Foot Doctor podiatry clinic we specialise in a variety of different prolotherapy treatment to alleviate pain and prevent reoccuring injury.

The ankle sprain injury is the most frequently observed injury in the emergency room. 30 % to 40% of individuals with a history of ankle ligament injury have residual pain complaints in the UK. Chronic ankle pain often is a result of laxity of one of the ankle ligaments. A good understanding of the anatomy of the ankle ligaments is important in understanding diagnosis and treatment of these injuries. Prolotherapy, PRP Prolotherapy and Biocellular Prolotherapy have been shown to be effective treatment options. Our podiatrist has over 12 years post graduate experience treating a wide range of foot and lower limb musculoskeletal problems using prolotherapy.
